My Services

“When I’m not feeling my best I ask myself, ‘what are you gonna do about it?’ I use the negativity to fuel the transformation into a better me.”
Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter

I predominantly offer individual psychotherapy services to older adolescents and adults. Psychotherapy is essentially a dialogue between you and me where we build a working relationship and discuss ways to manage your challenges and reach your goals. This exchange can involve processing your experiences, discussing skills and strategies to help you cope differently, reflecting on interpersonal patterns, validating your concerns, and reflecting on different perspectives to facilitate a better understanding of your next steps forward. I approach each session with an interest in what you are needing or wanting to discuss, but if you are unsure how you would like to use the therapy space, I can offer suggestions for areas of focus for the session.

Concerns include:

  • Mood and Anxiety Issues (sadness, anxiety, avoidance, loneliness, guilt, anger, emotional regulation)
  • Sexuality Issues & Concerns
  • Gender Issues & Concerns
  • Trauma, Grief, and Loss (PTSD, bereavement, childhood abuse, bullying, neglect, sexual assault)
  • Interpersonal and Relationship Issues (challenges with romantic relationships, difficulties with family, issues with peers or coworkers, establishing and maintaining boundaries, increasing interpersonal effectiveness)
  • Stress Management (relaxation training, improving work-life balance, workplace burnout)
  • Intrapersonal Issues (self-esteem, identity issues, shame)
