I am a registered Clinical Psychologist in good standing with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. I have competency in Clinical, Health and Rehabilitation Psychology with adolescents and adults. I received my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) from Adler University in Chicago, Illinois, with a concentration in Traumatic Stress. Throughout my doctoral training, I worked in a variety of settings including primary care settings, private practice and university mental health settings. My education and training placed considerable emphasis on trauma, emotional awareness, and attentiveness to how structural and systemic issues impact overall health and wellness.  Our program emphasized combining Clinical Psychology theory, training and knowledge with a social justice perspective. I have worked with a variety of clients, including individuals struggling with chronic pain and medical issues, LGBTQ folks, individuals with various forms of trauma, relationship difficulties, intense emotions, body image, and eating difficulties. As a clinician, I work to incorporate a deep appreciation for the mind-body connection with a social justice perspective in my work.
